Unit

Management

As the operating Manager of a CHICK-N-JOY Restaurant, you have both a great opportunity and great responsibility. The degree of success or failure of your unit depends directly on you and the energetic application of your managerial skills and training.

All aspects of the business are your concern. You are running the show. You give the directions to your employees, you supervise the complete unit operation, and you make the decisions of daily necessity.

The Manager must have ability beyond that of an employee working any one particular assignment:

The Manager must understand the business in every separate detail, and at the same time, must be able to see the operation as a whole-in a comprehensive, over-all view.

To establish, first, the over-all Managerial viewpoint, always keep in mind the key points on which a successful business depends:

     1. Quality of Product

    2. Customer Service

    3. Personnel

    4. Cleanliness of Store

    5. Salesmanship / Branding / Marketing

The Manager's attention to these areas will serve him well at all times, and will take him a long way towards management success. Examine each of the principal areas closely.
